Krit never fails to hit me with that good ole southern sound and instruments that almost seem to speak to you. Krit is so real and so raw and it’s hard not to like whatever he puts out. Confetti is one of those songs that reminds you why you love KRIT so much, the beat just transports you to somewhere else (it gives me spaceship vibes) and he spits his lyrics with such conviction you almost feel like you should be in the booth with him. The combination of this fire beat and the sharpness of Krit’s lyrics definitely make you feel this one in your chest and I feel like that’s what real hip-hop should do.
Keep the Devil Off (Take 1)
Keep the Devil Off reminds me of like a turnt up church service, like an Easter sunrise service at an old school Pentecostal church! It has the sound of a mass choir with a little sprinkle of School of Rock with Jack Black. The lyrics will speak to ya fasho because the Devil “stays busy every day, B” and I know I ain’t the only one working hard to keep him up off of me. Keep the Devil Off is most definitely a feel good song and might also get somebody to a break through. I’m here for this new Krit.
